China (Shanxi)–U.S. Symposium on Investments in Shanxi will be held in the afternoon of November 18, 2021, in The Garden Hotel, Guangzhou (No. 368, Huanshi East Road), for the realization of the "Implementation Opinions of the People's Government of Shanxi Province on Active and Effective Utilization of Foreign Investment to Promote High-Quality Economic Development", to focus on the innovation of investment attraction, to actively promote our province to establish a new high ground for opening up of inland areas to the outside world, to achieve new breakthrough using foreign investment, and to help our province's economy reach high-quality development. The Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province，the Shanxi Investment Promotion Bureau, the Shanxi Province Pearl River Delta China Merchants Bureau, together with the American Chamber of Commerce in South China intend to hold the "China (Shanxi)–U.S. Symposium on Investments in Shanxi" in Guangzhou.

As an underdeveloped province in central China, the implementation of Shanxi's comprehensive strategy of opening-up is of great significance to make better use of the two markets and two resources, to promote reform and innovation, to facilitate structural adjustment, and to expand development space, all through opening-up.
