Globally women account for 39% of total laborforce, studies show that in US labor market alone, from Year 2016-2021, the ratio of women with SVP titles changes from 14% to 27%, the ratio of women with C-Suite titles changes from 17% to 24%. While in China, ratio of women on board only accounts for 9.7% and women CEO in corporates account for 20.1% as of Year 2018. We clearly know that for the last two years pandemic repeatly challenges the whole business world with high uncertainty, it changes the way we used to work while at the same time creates new business models. In such new norm, there is a great risk of burnout especially for women with multi-dimentional identities in business.
Although there is a long way to go, there has been increasingly discussions and actions on promoting DEI in global workplace, helping improve and strenthen women leaders influence. In March 2022 where we are celebrating teh International Women's month, AmCham South China is planning to organize an International Women Leaders Conference in which we aim to invite women leaders of different identities to share their views on how women leaders can influence the business and share their stories as a woman at workplace growing to become leaders in their field. We also welcome the forward thinkers in business world who support multi-dimentionalization to join the discussion.
We hope through this event we can bring some unique thoughts and interesting interaction among speakers and audience for a mutural learning and developing opportunity.

在全球范围内,女性占劳动力的39%,仅在美国劳动力市场,2016年至2021年,担任高级副总裁职位的女性从14%增加到27%,担任管理层职位(C-Suite)的女性从17%增加到24%*,中国劳动力的情况是,女性仅占上市公司董事会的9.7%,在2018年有女性CEO的企业中占20.1%*。新冠疫情的反复给商业世界带来高不确定性和巨大的挑战,改变了普遍工作方式甚至迅速裂变催生新的商业模式,在如此的新常态模式下,作为拥有多元身份的职场女性无疑倍感挑战。女性的职场影响力虽然未来尚有一段长路需要继续探讨,但在近年全球各地倡导的DEI多元职场文化作用和努力下得到迅速发展。2022年的3月份恰逢国际妇女月,我们计划组织倡议的这场国际女性领导者论坛旨在通过拥有多元身份的职场女性领导者分享从她们的角度带来对目前商业环境的见解以及分享作为职场女性迈向领导角色的成长道路,当然也会邀请支持多元文化的商业世界前行者的他们一起共同探讨参与,希望能给参与听众带来职场女性如何能够推动商业发展等独特的思想碰撞和提供互动、探求共同成长的机会。
