In recent years, Mexico has become a focus of investment attraction for the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Although Mexico is a country with great regulatory openness for foreign investment, there are still important aspects that Chinese companies must consider before starting a project. This presentation will discuss the investment landscape, the main requirements for foreign projects, as well as the regulations related to foreign investment in Mexico.

    Susana Muno

    Mexican advisor for Chinese Companies Going-out

    Susana Munoz is a Mexican advisor for Chinese companies going-out. A former officer from the Ministry of Economy, Mexico, Susana specializes in trade and investment law, and promotion of China - Mexico business projects. She has worked for both the private and public sectors in several projects including the acquisition of the first company of Grupo Bimbo in China, the opening of the Latin America HQ of Tiens Group, and the founding of the first Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Mexico city, among others.

    Susana arrived in China 23 years ago as a graduate student and has lived in the cities of Chengdu, Beijing and Hong Kong SAR.
