AmCham South China

The American Chamber of Commerce in South China (AmCham South China) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating bilateral trade between the United States and the People’s Republic of China. Certified in 1995 by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., AmCham South China represents more than 2,300 corporate and individual members, is governed by a fully-independent Board of Governors elected from its membership, and provides dynamic, on-the-ground support for American and International companies doing business in South China. In 2010, AmCham South China hosted nearly 10,000 business executives and government leaders from around the world at its briefings, seminars, committee meetings and social gatherings.

The 130th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in an online and offline merged format for the first time. The offline exhibition will open in Guangzhou on October 15, 2021. On the occasion of its 65th anniversaty, the 130th Canton Fair is held with the theme of driving domestic and international circulations. About 26,000 exhibitors will display 16 product categories in 51 sections online and offline. We will invite purchasing agents, namely Chinese personnel of foreign-funded enterprises, representatives of overseas industrial and commercial organizations/ enterprises in China, foreign chambers of commerce in China and agents of overseas buyers to attend the Fair. The national-level Pearl River International Trade Forum and activities such as new product launch and trade matchmaking will also be held during this session.

第130届中国进出口商品交易会（广交会）首次实行线上线下融合办展新模式，线下展将于2021年10月15日在广州开幕。本届广交会适逢大庆，以促进国内国际双循环为主题，设16大类题材、51个展区，线上线下约2.6万家参展企业同场展出。本届将重点邀请各类采购代表即外资企业中方人员、境外工商机构及企业驻华代表、在华外国商会、境外采购商的代理商参会，开展期间还将举办国家级珠江贸易论坛以及一系列产品发布、贸易对接等精彩纷呈的展会活动。

To effectively implement epidemic prevention and control measures at the 130th Canton Fair and ensure the smooth entry of participants, we hereby offer the following tips.


1. Since October 8, Badge and epidemic prevention information will be checked at every gate of the Canton Fair Complex.The Badge verification system of the Canton Fair is linked to Yuekang Code, which allows real-time check of epidemic prevention information at the entrances. This includes real-time status of Yuekang Code (Guangzhou, green code), negative nucleic acid test result valid within 48 hours in Guangdong, the proof of full vaccination received 14 days before entry to the Complex, signing of the letter of commitment, etc.

Please check the "Canton Fair Certificate Self-check" in the Canton Fair Section in Suikang mini program of WeChat in advance to ensure that the identity information verified on Suikang is consistent with that used to apply for the Canton Fair Badge. If you have any question, please contact Canton Fair Customer Service Centre at 4000-888-999.


2. To ensure smooth entry, please take nucleic acid tests according to your entry schedule.

Participants from outside Guangdong should take a nucleic acid test valid within 48 hours and get a negative report before their departure, and should take another test on the very day of entering Guangdong. Participants from Guangdong should take nucleic acid tests twice in 3 days in Guangdong before their entry to the Complex. Since October 8 all the participants should present a negative nucleic acid test report valid within 48 hours in Guangdong every time they enter the Complex.
