广佛同城全球联合招商机制启动仪式暨2020中国（广东）—美国投资合作交流会 先进制造业专题分会

为继续深化广东与美国经贸投资领域互利合作，进一步宣传推介粤港澳大湾区，广东省人民政府与美国全国商会定于今年9月16 日在广州联合举办2020 中国（广东）—美国投资合作交流，交流会由广东省商务厅、广东省政府外事办公室承办。这是继2017-2019 年连续成功举办三届中国（广东）—美国投资合作交流会后，粤美双方合作举办的又一届盛会。

建设粤港澳大湾区，是中国国家主席习近平亲自谋划、亲自部署、亲自推动的重大国家战略。粤港澳大湾区将建设成为新时代中国进一步深化改扩大开放，加快实现高质量发展，在更高水平上参与国际竞争合作的重大平台。当前，广东正充分发挥粤港澳大湾区、支持深圳建设中国特色社会主义先行示范区利好叠加的"双区驱动效应"，推动广州、深圳"双核联动、比翼双飞"，加快构建"一核一带一区"区域发展新格局，这将为粤美经贸投

资合作提供巨大商机。本次交流会将紧扣粤港澳大湾区背景下粤美投资合作主题，采用线上和线下会议相结合的方式，介绍当前广东经济社会发展

情况，探讨广东与美国的合作发展商机和重点合作领域。

广东与美国经贸合作具备优越的条件和坚实的基础，双方经济高度互补，合作潜力巨大。广东省人民政府希望借此活动为粤美双方搭建共叙友谊、共商合作的平台。相信此次交流会必将进一步加深双方的互信与共识，推动广东与美国在经贸投资领域的交流与合作迈向更高水平。

In order to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the United Sates and Guangdong in the fields of trade and investment, and to promote Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the People's Government of Guangdong Province together with U.S. Chamber of Commerce will host 2020 China (Guangdong)-U.S. Investment Cooperation Conference on September 16th , 2020 in Guangzhou. The Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Foreign Affairs Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province are the organizers of the conference.

This conference is the fourth time of hosting following the successful holding of the previous three sessions in 2017, 2018 and 2019 respectively. The construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major national strategy planned, deployed and promoted by President Xi Jinping in person. It is a major platform for China to further deepen reform and opening-up, accelerate high-quality development and participate in international competition and cooperation at a higher level. At present, Guangdong gives a full play to the "Driving Force of Double Regions", namely the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Guangdong and support for the building of the Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in Shenzhen, as well as the advantages of "Duel Core Linkage, Joint Development" of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, accelerates the construction of a new regional development pattern of "One

Core, One Belt and One Zone", which will provide huge opportunities for the economic, trade and investment cooperation between Guangdong and the U.S.

The conference focuses on the investment cooperation between the United Sates and Guangdong province in the background of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, both onsite and online, and introduces the economic and social development of Guangdong province and discusses business cooperation opportunities and key cooperation areas.

Guangdong province enjoys superior conditions and solid foundations in strengthening economic and trade cooperation with U.S., as both enjoy high economic complementarity and great potential in economic cooperation. The People's Government of Guangdong Province avails

itself of this opportunity to provide a platform for the both to renew friendship and seek cooperation. It is believed that the conference will further enhance mutual trust and consensus and promote exchanges and cooperation between the United States and Guangdong in the fields of economy, trade and investment to a higher level.
