Solely sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the 21st China International Fair for Investment & Trade (abbreviated as the CIFIT) is scheduled to take place from Sept.8th to 11th in Xiamen, China. 'BRICS Countries New Industry Revolution Expo' will be on stage concurrently.
The 21st CIFIT will focus on investment, pool the global resources, further establish the platform for investment promotion, serve international economic and trade cooperation and reach mutually beneficial results. Meanwhile, the 21st CIFIT will organize events to serve for the the high-quality development goal set for the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and integrate with the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the development of BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution. The 21st CIFIT will continue to strengthen the functions of three platforms, namely "bilateral investment promotion, authoritative information release, and investment trend discussion", to enhance internationalization, specialization, and branding, taking the initiative to promote the new development mode where the domestic and international dual circulation complementing each other, and providing a one-stop service platform for bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation and exchange. This year's CIFIT is expected to be attended by government officials from 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions as well as 300+ major cities across China, embassies and consulates in China, transnational corporations, renowned investment institutions and powerful companies. Over 1500 correspondents correspondents from hundreds of domestic and foreign media organizations will extensively cover the fair.
